Dr. Kauffman grew up in the St. Louis area and comes from a family of medical and dental professionals. She completed her B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Illinois in Urbana – Champaign and completed her dental training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. After completion of dental school, Dr. Kauffman moved on to finish a General Practice Residency in 2015 at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago. Her residency included extensive training in implant dentistry, trauma, oral surgery, general dentistry, Invisalign and medically compromised populations and special needs care. In addition to her commitment to private practice, Dr. Kauffman acts an attending at Illinois Masonic Hospital and has continued her care for special needs patients one day a week at Misericordia Home in Chicago.
Dr. Kauffman has a commitment to excellence in patient care that will help achieve patients reach their oral health goals. Dr. Kauffman provides patients with care that is gentle, compassionate and thoughtful. You will find her treatment will be individualized to help each patient meet their specific needs for long term longevity. She treats patients of all ages and finds being included as a part of patients lives as a privilege. Dr. Kauffman spends an exceptional amount of time in continuing education as well.
Dr. Kauffman is an active member of the Chicago Dental Society and serves as the Dinner Chair for the Northside Branch. Dr. Kauffman sits on the New Dentist Committee for the Illinois State Dental Society. Her involvement with organized dentistry serves as a platform to help dentists provide the best care to our community.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kauffman enjoys life with her daughter Riley, husband Tim and her dog Noodles! Running after her toddler and dog keeps her very active!
