Bio

Dr. Christie Wright, D.M.D. was born in Texas and moved to North Carolina at age 7 where she began her scholastic career. She discovered her passion for directly helping people in North Carolina through church missions, Girl Scouts and mentoring female high school athletes. Dr. Wright realized that many of her friends and family, as well as people in need, did not go to the dentist due to fear, anxiety, or previous bad experiences. She decided that she wanted to make a difference in how people viewed dentists and inspire people to learn how to care for their teeth in a comfortable and trustworthy environment. When asked what drives Dr. Wright’s passion for dentistry, she will answer, “Giving people the confidence to smile brings sunshine into my life.” Dr. Wright is very faithful and her goal in life is to
continue educating herself to be the best caregiver she can be, as well as continue to give back in order to inspire hope in all people.

Dr. Wright studied Biology and Chemistry with a focus on Pre-Dental Studies at the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina. Afterward, she and her rescue hound dog, Loki, moved to Chicagoland and she attended the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. After practicing in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she decided to move back to Chicagoland to be with her closest friends who
have become her family. Dr. Wright enjoys the outdoors, fishing for bass and northern pike, going to Cubs games, visiting the Brookfield and Lincoln Park Zoos, as well as hiking in the many public forests in the suburbs of Chicago.
