I have been practicing dentistry since 1988 after graduating from the University Of Illinois College Of Dentistry. I participated in research in the Department of Oral Pathology studying the impact of restricted caloric diet on cell life and have been published in the Journal of Dental Research.
I continued my education, studying periodontics and received my specialty certificate from the University of Illinois in 1991. I have been a clinical assistant professor at the University of Illinois for the past 26 years and have worked with the dental students as well as the postgraduate periodontal students. I believe dental care is a partnership between the patient and their doctor, and pride myself in providing gentle, compassionate care.
My wife and I are the proud parents of three children, and even prouder of one grandchild. In my spare time I like riding my bike, running, gardening and in general being active.
