Dr. Pelc is originally from a small town in Michigan, north of Detroit, and moved to Chicago in 1995 for her husband’s job. She attended Michigan State University for undergrad and got her Bachelor’s degree in 1994. She is board certified by both the North East Region and National Board of Dental Examiners. Dr. Pelc has been serving the Evanston community for 25 years, with an emphasis on first achieving good oral health in support of aesthetics. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and tries her best to ensure that every dental visit is a positive experience.
Outside of the office, Dr. Pelc loves to exercise, cook, read, and do anything travel-related. She has visited 32 countries and hopes to visit at least 32 more. Her top five countries to visit are Iceland, Spain, Italy, France, and Greece. Dr. Pelc has two daughters currently in college, which she says are the light of her life. Dr. Pelc also adopted a small dog during the COVID-19 quarantine which she named “Bijou” which means “jewel” in French.
