  • If an anesthetic was used to perform your procedure, try not to chew any food or gum until the numbness has ended.
  • Resume your normal brushing and flossing routine.
  • Use a sensitivity toothpaste if you have issues with hot or cold sensitivity.
  • Use a warm salt water rinse several times a day.

If you have any increase in swelling or pain or your filling feels loose or crooked, feel free to call us. However, it is normal to feel some discomfort for a few days after the procedure.
