Indirect Restorations

After receiving your restoration, make sure you take care of it by following these simple directions:

  • If an anesthetic was used, try not to chew any food or gum until the numbness has ended.
  • Resume normal brushing avoiding the treated area.
  • Use a sensitivity toothpaste if you have issues with hot or cold sensitivity.
  • Take your medications or antibiotics (if prescribed) as stated by the physician.
  • Rinse your mouth with salt water up to 3 times a day to reduce swelling.

You will most likely have discomfort for a few days after your procedure. However, if your bite is crooked or you are experiencing pain, please call our office with your concerns.
