It is Webster Dental Care’s utmost pleasure to welcome back its own family – Dr. Ethel Alfaro (“Dr. Ethel”) as a resolute, licensed dental professional. Dr. Ethel has been with Webster Dental Care for over a decade, focusing her time and energy on learning as much as she could in real-life dentistry and collaborating with multiple doctors. Working with people from different disciplines in various social care settings has developed her keen interest in all aspects of Dentistry.

Dr. Ethel has recently completed her 2-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at Cleveland Dental Institute (CDI). She has performed a wide array of full-mouth rehabilitations and advanced oral surgeries catering to the underserved communities in Cleveland. During her CDI residency, she earned the leadership role of Chief Dental Resident, where she was responsible for helping train and mentor her junior colleagues in a variety of patient treatments. Dr. Ethel also holds a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines.

Dr. Ethel’s warmth, compassion, and commitment to exceeding patients’ expectations align perfectly with our practice’s mission. Known for providing honest and professional opinions, she is enthusiastic about improving patients’ lives through their smiles. She believes that oral health is the key to a wonderful and comfortable life. She strongly believes that with vulnerability comes compassion. After creating a connection, rest assured that everything will be smooth sailing.

Dr. Ethel is a single mother to her beloved daughter Ericka, whom she holds dear. Throughout her career, she has prioritized her daughter, sacrificing much to provide her with the best life possible. Now that her daughter is mature and independent, Dr. Ethel is happily engaged to her fiancé Brian, and together, they enjoy exploring new restaurants and indulging in their shared love for food, music, and travel. Experiencing diverse cultures through their cuisine brings them immense joy. She is also a dog lover who will do anything for her best friend, Wilson.

As Dr. Ethel likes to say, Dentistry is her way of giving back to the community, changing lives one smile at a time. She lives by the quote from Charlie Chaplin: “You’ll find that life is still worthwhile if you just smile.”
