Bio

Originally from the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Fakhra Ahmad is excited to be back in the area after a long time away. She grew up in the Streamwood and Elgin area, where she graduated Valedictorian from Elgin High School. Afterwards, she attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she majored in Molecular & Cellular Biology and Anthropology and graduated with high honors. Thereafter she attended the prestigious University of Illinois at Chicago for Dental School.

Although having completed her schooling several years ago, Dr. Ahmad believes in lifelong learning. One of her favorite pastimes is attending continuing education courses on various topics in dentistry. Some of her favorite topics are dental cosmetics and implants. She is a current candidate for Associate Fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. In everyday dentistry, her guiding principles include minimal invasion, prevention, and aesthetic harmony.

On a personal note, Dr. Ahmad lives in the locality with her husband. Her hobbies are traveling, exploring different cuisines and spending time with family & friends. She also loves getting to know her patients personally and is excited to meet all the patients of Webster Dental Schaumburg!
