Bio

What drew me to dentistry as an undergraduate student is still what gets me energized at the beginning of each day, the desire to provide top quality dental care to my patients with care and attention to detail. I talk to my patients and aim to understand the reason for their visit and then walk them through what to expect from each procedure. It is important to me that patients love their smiles!I believe strongly in the value of continuing education, which is why you can always find me attending courses to learn about the latest dental techniques and technologies. I have extensive experience in endodontia, exodontia, crowns, bridges, veneers, and full mouth rehabilitation. I am currently working towards my diplomate status in Dental Sleep Medicine and am also a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

I previously owned a multi-specialty practice, and during that time enjoyed working with our new graduates to share my experience and teachings them. I also enjoy collaborating with my peers and specialists on cases in order to provide the best overall care for patients. I was fortunate enough to have been a co-author on numerous text books, supporting workbooks, and visual materials on the topic of Sectional Anatomy. I also had the opportunity to teach at a Chicago college as an Associate Professor of Physiology and Pathology.

On a personal note, I have a daughter starting Butler University in the fall and a son who is a senior at Marquette University. My beautiful wife and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. She is in the medical field as well, an anesthesiologist. We both enjoy volunteering in our current home towns of Oak Brook and Lincoln Park.
