Dr. Katin attended the University of Pennsylvania Dental School where he received his D.D.S. in 1961. He completed his residency at Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. Katin is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and also participates in the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Katin and his wife Marcia enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren. He also enjoys barbershop singing with the New Tradition Chorus, which won the international Gold Metal in 2001.
