Bio

Dr. Lubar attended the University of Wisconsin where he earned his Bachelor of Science in 1964. He continued his education at Loyola University Dental School, earning his D.D.S. in 1968. In 1972 he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania & Presbyterian Hospital. He began his private practice in surgery in 1972.

Dr. Lubar has been active in research in Dental Implantology. He has lectured extensively throughout the United States. He formerly taught at the University of Illinois Oral and Maxillofacial Department, Michael Reese Oral Surgery program, Mt. Sinai, and Evanston Hospitals.

Dr. Lubar’s professional affiliation included the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the American Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a Diplomate for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. Dr. Lubar and his wife Julie, enjoy travel, golfing, fishing, and reading. He has two sons, Jason and Jamie, and a daughter-in-law, Jennifer. He
loves ” J ” names.
